Testimonials
Mike J. Hernandez, University of Michigan 2016
“I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the Braves program as a player and coach since the inaugural season in 2009. It allowed me to play with the most talented kids in the Bay Area while competing against the toughest competition around the country. The Braves elevated my game and gave me the exposure needed to be recruited and play Division 1 lacrosse at my favorite school. Coach Peter Langkammerer is easily the most influential and supportive coach I have ever had. He still comes to my games in my pro career. I can’t thank him enough for all the support, encouragement, and time he has given to me throughout my lacrosse career.”

NOR CAL BRAVES NCAA PLAYER-COACH, STEVEN BOGERT, (LA COSTA CANYON/PENN STATE)
“My experience with the Nor Cal braves has been nothing short of fantastic. Peter Langkammerer has changed the culture of lacrosse in Northern California. He has done a phenomenal job of having the kids come eager to get better everyday. Not only is Nor Cal Braves a top travel team playing at some of the best tournaments in the country, but coach L only wants what best for your kid. Not many people bring to the table what Coach Langkammerer does for your son. He is passionate, competitive, and brings an edge to every game that excites the kids. If I were looking for a lacrosse family with a father figure as a coach, Nor Cal Braves is your team.”
In addition to being a 4 year starter, Steven was named to the 2011 All-CAA Rookie team, the 2013 All-CAA First Team and 2013 CAA All-Championship Team.
NOR CAL BRAVES PROGRAM GRADUATE, NICKY MULLEN, (MENLO-ATHERTON/CHAPMAN)
“The NorCal Braves picked me up and since day one I felt welcomed in the Braves family. The coaching staff is unbelievably knowledgable and wise beyond their years, the people I played with are still my close friends today, and the “Blue Collar” work ethic Coach Pete taught me over my couple years playing for the Braves has stuck with me on and off the field. ”
As a freshman, Nicky received 2014 MCLA 1st Team All-American honors, 2014 MCLA All-Tournament Team honors, 2014 SLC 1st Team All-Conference honors, and was selected to the 2014 SLC All-Freshman Team.
NOR CAL BRAVES PROGRAM GRADUATE, ALEX SOHN, (AMADOR VALLEY/WHITTIER)
“Since joining the program the Braves have not only been my team, but my second family. Coming from a non- traditional lacrosse hot bed I know how difficult it is to receive recognition and respect from other teams and college coaches. The competitive fire that Coach Pete Langkammerer brings to practice every week is nothing short of inspiring. He and his staff helped push me to the next level, as well as instill a blue collar mentality and work ethic on and off the field. Not to mention, It was an honor and privilege to be able to represent where I come from and show that Northern California lacrosse is on the rise.”
